Chaplain First Responders – Special Unit

The United States Chaplain Corps provides training to First Responders Chaplains (FRC) to aid in emergency incidents. The training comprises the PFA (psychological first aid) method adopted by most first responders across the US and abroad. It is offered to chaplains to serve police and fire departments, city, state, and US government agencies.

Chaplain First Responders undergo rigorous training to deal with a wide array of potential psychological emergencies. Due to the high levels of stress and pressure associated with their role, Chaplain First Responders are encouraged to maintain optimal physical and mental health. Even with such preparation, Chaplain First Responders often heroically confront the personal challenges that accompany these traumatic, emotionally demanding situations.

The services provided by this unit are especially crucial during the Covid-19 pandemic. Corona patients and their family members who are isolated at home sometimes experience significant psychological distress, necessitating care and intervention on the part of the first responders.

When it is most needed and least expected, Chaplain First Responders are called to the task of detecting and assessing emergencies so that they may rescue its potential victims in time.
Chaplains are praised, honored, and respected for saving lives every day.
