USCC chaplains serve patients, families, healthcare professionals, and support staff in hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other care environments. They provide compassionate emotional and spiritual support during illness, crisis, recovery, and end-of-life situations.

USCC First Responder Chaplains are trained to provide effective support during emergencies, critical incidents, and other high-stress situations. Training includes Psychological First Aid (PFA), based on the model developed by Johns Hopkins University, together with crisis response, emotional support, and practical skills that prepare chaplains to serve alongside first responders with professionalism, preparedness, and compassion.

USCC chaplains support older adults and their families through the emotional, spiritual, and personal challenges that can accompany aging. Chaplains provide compassionate presence, encouragement, and support in senior communities, healthcare settings, and other care environments, helping individuals maintain dignity, connection, and a sense of well-being.

The Chaplains Aviation Transport Division supports individuals and families during medical air transportation and urgent aviation-related missions. USCC chaplain responders provide compassionate emotional and spiritual support during critical medical transfers, organ transport, and other time-sensitive situations.

The Chaplain Academy equips chaplains with the knowledge, skills, and practical training needed to serve effectively across a wide range of missions and community settings. Training emphasizes preparedness, compassionate service, professional conduct, crisis response, and the core responsibilities of chaplaincy.

USCC Chaplains On-Call provide compassionate emotional and spiritual support to individuals and families during times of crisis, uncertainty, and personal need. Trained chaplains are available to offer guidance, reassurance, and a caring presence by phone, through Telehealth, and, when appropriate and available, through in-person support.
